Conversation with Francesca Pena

I called Superintendent Pena last Friday, May 1, 2009, to inform that her principal at Unity High School, Fausto de la Rosa, refuses to affix his signature to attest that I am a tenured teacher and that I have incurred XXX number of Family Leave without Pay (FMLA) in the past five years. Ms. Pena said that she and de la Rosa discussed my application when she went to Unity High School during the school's quality review on April 28 - 29, 2009.

Ms. Pena said that her secretary made her sign my application even without Fausto de la Rosa's affirmation that I am tenured teacher. How could she NOT know what she was signing? Did she nor read the documents before affixing her signature? What kind of business officer is she that he signed a document without evaluating it, which if it was her sentence, she signed into her gas chamber execution without REALIZING IT. Poor business decision.

Continuing into the phone conversation, she promised that she will talk to Fausto de la Rosa to sign his portion of the application.

Let us hope that she keeps her promise.

On the legal end, my legal panel is on top of the game. EEOC wrote the NYCDOE lawyers at Chambers Street informing that Fausto de la Rosa is continuing the harassment and retaliatory tactics on me, that the legal department should advice Fausto de la Rosa to cease and desist from retributing on me or face heavy penalties.
