The NYCDOE, particularly my high school principal has not acted on my application for leave of absence to teach English overseas under The Defense Language Institute English Language Center (DLIELC) at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. I have worked on this EFL Specialist application since October 2008 just as I began my shameful banishment to the RUBBER ROOM ON 181st Street in Washington Heights.

I told you so
Today I received a phone message from Judith Rivera of the Manhattan ISC informing me that Fausto de la Rosa had signed my application for leave of absence without pay.
